Where are my documents stored?
All documents are stored locally on your device. Nothing is uploaded to any server or cloud service.
How do I share a document as PDF?
Open a document and tap the share icon in the top right. Choose "Share as PDF" to generate and share a PDF file. You can also share directly after scanning without saving first.
What does the Dewrinkle filter do?
Dewrinkle removes crease and fold shadows from crumpled or folded paper, making scans look cleaner while preserving text.
Can I rearrange pages in a document?
Yes. Open a document and tap the reorder icon in the top right. Drag pages to rearrange them.
How do I delete a document?
Long-press on a document card on the home screen and confirm deletion. To delete a single page, open the document and long-press on the page.
Does ClearScan work offline?
Yes, completely. ClearScan requires no internet connection for any of its features.
How does auto edge detection work?
When you import a photo, ClearScan analyzes the image and places detected corner handles around the document. Confirm with one tap, drag the corners to adjust, or skip cropping entirely.
Is ClearScan really free?
Yes. No subscriptions, no in-app purchases, no scan limits, no "Pro" tier. Every feature is available to everyone, forever.
Can I adjust brightness and contrast?
Yes. On the Enhance screen, sliders for brightness and contrast let you fine-tune the look after picking a filter.
